Dental Tip of the Month

Keep tennis balls on the court and
out of your dogs mouth!
The texture of tennis balls acts like
sandpaper against your dog's teeth.
Over time it will cause wear and damage
to the tooth, which could result in pulp
exposure, pain and infection. If this
happens the tooth will need to be
extracted or have root canal therapy.
Acceptable alternatives to tennis balls
include soft rubber balls and pliable
kong type toys.
